Spanish Fork Canyon

So I've been begging Justin to take me backpacking so I could try out my new pack.  As soon as it was great weather, and we had the time off, we went.  We decided to go try out the hot pots in Spanish Fork canyon.  It wasn't too far, (maybe 4-6 miles) in? We got there about dusk, set up our tent and went in to the hot pots.  It was fairly crowded despite the almost freezing temperature.  We probably stayed at the hot pots till 11 or so, and then headed back to our camp.  We ate dinner, (I know, it was late) and headed to bed.  We weren't camped too far off the trail, and were amazed at how many people continued to head in to the hot pots.  Like at least 150-200 people heading IN until like 1:30 in the morning!  Super busy place, but we still had fun.

Our tent on one of our last trips with it!  :(  We got a new one, but we loved this one too!!
We always love eating granola and tang for breakfast!

The next morning we went and checked out the hot pots and waterfalls that we really couldn't see too well in the moonlight the night before.
This is where we spent most of our time that night.

A cool blue bird we were following for a little bit.
Wish there had been room in this hot pot the night before, it was a much more consistent temperature, and just deep enough!

I loved my new pack, and my hubby for taking me on this adventure!  So fun!
