Finally a Gann and Hansen Trip!

Justin took both his Nuclear Medicine Certification boards the week before and passed both of them, so we were definitely in the mood to celebrate!  We went to Chili's to celebrate!

Whoo hoo!!!  He's done!

Well my parents have been waiting to take us on a trip for a while now.  They took my 2 oldest brothers on trips with their spouses back to my brother's mission locations and we have been trying to get time in our schedule to go with them somewhere too!  The opportunity finally came this July.  We decided that since my Dad is from Washington state and Justin's never been up there that it would be a great location for our trip. I have been to Washington twice already and LOVE it, so I knew it would be so much fun showing Justin around!

We were driving and spent some time in the car entertaining ourselves.  It was fun to just chill, chat with my parents and hold my honey's hand!

Getting creative making a wordsearch and of course playing the "Dot" game

We spent the first night in Oregon.  We headed to the coast the next day and stopped at Multnomah Falls to break up the drive and see the beauty there.  We took a short hike up to the top which was a good way to stretch our legs from the long car drive!
Everything was so green there and covered in moss!  It was beautiful!
Multnomah Falls

Us with a great view of the Columbia River from the Oregon side.

Mmm Tastes so good!! :)

We went and stayed outside of Seaside the next day at Bud's Campground.  It was perfect.  We barely made it to the Ocean before dark, but ran out and got a couple of pictures.  It was cold!

Brrr it was cold but Beautiful!

So grateful for my Best Friend :)

The next morning we went down to Cannon Beach.  It was so scenic and we got to see some tide pools!  It was lucky because as we were leaving the tide was coming in and hiding all the sea life.
An unfortunate Sea Cormorant is an Anemone's meal now...

Star Fish!

All four of our adventure shoes! Notice all the Starfish on the rock!

I found this handsome guy at the beach too!

It was so much fun to relive my child and teen memories, and share them with Justin!  We are so lucky to have wonderful parents (both sides) and to have this fun opportunity together!  Our next Adventure- Seattle!
