Better Together: Seattle!

I love Seattle! It was such a contrast from the chill beach environment. I always love people watching in big cities and Seattle was no exception. One of our first stops was the original REI store. It was huge and even had a bike path with a waterfall outside. Definitely worth seeing. Justin of course loved it. This was one of the ONLY things he truly wanted to see on our trip.

One of my favorite things is Pike's Public Market. It has a Ton of Seafood (which neither of us love) but my Dad does! It also has SOOO many fresh flowers for SOOO cheap. Justin even said that if flowers were that cheap and beautiful where we lived, we would get fresh flowers EVERY week :) I wished we could've bought some, but on a road trip it's hard. So we bought some dried flowers for my Grandpa's grave instead.

We took the Bainbridge Ferry across the water to see the city from the water. It was a little chilly but well worth it.

The market seems to go on forever. Tons of jewlery and local artists. It is awesome.

The famous Gum wall. Apparently the city kept trying to clean it up, but it was too much. So they gave up, and now it is a touristy thing. Wow. So. Much. Gum.... Fun though!

Probably my favorite thing about Seattle in the past was the Underground tour. Seattle started out a story below where it sits now. It is a funny informative tour that I LOVE. I recommend it to anyone going to visit Seattle! Here's Justin down underground.

Those who know Justin very well know that he loves his Scottish Heritage. He even wore a Kilt to his Senior Catillion. Well when my parents were last in Seattle they noticed this store called Utilikilts. They are kilts made for everyday use. Utility Kilts if you will. Justin tried one on and loved it. He wanted one so bad, but they were quite pricey. But now that he's been fitted for it, he can order it online if he wants! He's looking good!!

We spent lunchtime one day at the top of the Space needle. We got to eat lunch up there! It was amazing food, and a great view. It was a rotating restaurant so we got to see the full panoramic view. So Cool!
